A sculpted clay face emerges from a tangle of synthetic hair and iridescent
mesh ribbon, adorned with scattered stars, hearts, and toy-like trinkets. Air dry clay
exploding out of porcelain clay to show thoughts spilling out. The closed eyes and soft,
candy-coloured surface suggest a suspended, dreamlike state — identity caught midformation,
half memory and half invention.
Materials: Clay, air dry, recycled mesh tubes, unused charms, old makeup, resin, left-over
hair spray, discarded fake hair pieces, recycled metal strips, biodegradable glitter on
wood board.
