"The search" 130x130 cm. My work looks at two aspects: Globalization and the speed at which everything takes place. Our era is crossed by these two factors. Globalization in Art brings as a consequence an immense amalgam of multiple trends. This circumstance added to the frenetic pace of phagocytization of images (coming from the different media that bombard us and to which we are exposed), makes the contemplation of the consumer of the artistic fact be disinterested, unreflective and speechless. What yesterday was an impact news today is forgotten; Sensitive to this situation generated by the mass media, I appropriate images from different sources of information such as a cultural cannibal, nourishing me with resources found on the Internet, press, film frames, etc., intervened or not, or, on other occasions , making use of own photographs almost randomly, without any pre-established rule, without an apparent reason. Although at first sight it may seem an irrational act, behind that choice lies an archetypal element, through which I try to empathize with the viewer. For me, the artistic experience has a playful nature, turning the pictorial process itself into a kind of prescribed game, through which I try to reconstruct different situations; a game that invites us to reinvent ourselves, to look back and forth, which raises questions, pulling us out of inertia and the state of comfort.
