Utopie Ponderate

Utopie Ponderali reflects my ongoing investigation into the relationship between instinct and the systems that shape human experience. Throughout life, we learn to navigate the world through structures—social, cultural, and cognitive—that provide orientation and coherence while gradually defining the boundaries of our perception.

Rather than imagining utopia as an unreachable ideal, I understand it as the possibility of remaining connected to our instinctive nature without abandoning the frameworks that allow us to exist within society. The work inhabits this unresolved threshold, where intuition and logic, spontaneity and structure, continuously negotiate one another.

Painting becomes a space where this dialogue can unfold without seeking resolution. It is through uncertainty, rather than certainty, that new possibilities of being and perceiving emerge.
