Inspired by the yamabuki flowers in full bloom in my home garden, I painted this work while sitting directly before them in a state of deep immersion. To preserve the immediacy of the experience, I attached several petals to the surface like botanical specimens. As the flowers, the surrounding air, and my own presence gradually became one, the painting emerged as an expression of complete devotion to the act of seeing and creating.
