The work comes from autobiographical cycle "Animalia-Memory records". The graphics is made of many layers of plexiglass. It is a digital print combined with traditional convex print. I use scans of old photographs from my
childhood, as well as drawings and monotypes. I place used parchment between
the plexiglass layers. It refers to old photo albums. “And so a wolf
leaned out of the bushes” is a citation
from Jan Brzechwa’s version of “The Little Red Riding Hood”. At that time I
pictured the wolf as an enormous animal. I therefore captured those memorized,
unreal proportions also in my graphics.
