She graduated from the University of Silesia, Institute of Fine Art (Graphic department). Since 2005 she has been working at the Institute of Fine Art (her Alma Mater) where she runs the Drawing Studio. In 2009 she received her Ph.D in Fine Art. In 2019 She has been granted the title of associate professor. Her artistic work deals with the issues of identity, memory and post-memory. She uses various types of media: experimental printmaking, drawings, objects and animation. In recent years, she has been working on the project entitled "Memory of Place" using the tools of nature. She grows plants on a soft surface, which die after some time. Images - traces of the earth - are made from these modified natural materials.Participant of artistic residencies (North Wales School of Arts and Design, Wrexham, Great Britain, 2008; Guanlan Original Printmaking Base, China, 2012). Author of workshops and artistic actions. She presented her works at 30 individual and over 150 collective exhibitions, in Poland and abroad including: Osten Biennial of Drawing, Skopje, Macedonia (2018), 12-th Lessedra International Painting and Mixed Media Competition, Bulgaria (2021), 42-nd Mini Print International of Cadaques, Spain (2022), Interspaces, Hot Bed Press, Salford, Great Britain (2023). She is also Scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2010). Winner of awards and distinctions.
