Aleph is the first letter, but also the first breath before language. This painting is built around that idea. The signs are not meant to be read like an alphabet. They suggest a forgotten language, one that existed before words. The solitary figure, the silent spaces and the recurring symbols invite the viewer to imagine a personal story rather than discover a hidden meaning. For me, painting begins where language ends.
