Tidal Garden is a contemporary nature artwork exploring the meeting point between land and sea.
Preserved botanical specimens, delicate flowers, seashells and starfish are suspended within layers of richly textured blue-green resin, creating the sensation of an imagined underwater garden. Organic forms appear to drift through the composition, while the translucent resin creates depth, movement and a dreamlike sense of immersion.
The work brings together elements from two different natural environments, transforming flowers and marine forms into a single imagined ecosystem. The circular composition echoes the natural cycles of life and the movement of tides.
Each element is individually selected and positioned by hand before being encapsulated within the resin, making the finished work a unique contemporary artwork.
Tidal Garden invites the viewer to look beyond the surface and explore a preserved world where botanical and marine forms coexist.
