“I Am Not a Vase Series No.4 —Sochi White Vase ”
She cannot see herself.
The mountain snowflakes resting on her lashes,
the cherry blossoms caught in her hair,
the sea foam kissing her wedding lace —
all remain invisible to her.Yet she dances, a living whirlwind of romance and risk,
extending her hand toward yours,
offering numbered lottery spheres and the unseen beauty of her own existence.“I am not a vase, I am gambling.”
This work is both a self-portrait of blindness and an invitation:
to see what she cannot,
to hold what she dares to give,
and to recognize that true beauty often lives most vividly in what we cannot see.Through blind dance performances and an innovative lottery machine concept (Patent Pending — AU 2026901562), I hope to create spaces where disabled artists can transform perceived limitations into dignity, income, and joyful connection.
“Sochi White Vase: She Cannot See Herself” I cannot see myself.
Snow crowns my hair I’ll never witness,
cherry petals tangle in lace I only feel,
sea foam whispers against skin I cannot admire. Yet I spin — a blind tornado —
and reach for your hand,
offering numbered spheres of chance
and the unseen pearl that is me. Take it.
In your eyes,
I finally become visible.
