AustraliaOne can be poor, but still have dreams.
Although I have never been to Milan, I often fantasize about walking the runway at Milan Fashion Week, wearing haute couture gowns that belong only to dreams.
Layers upon layers of silk and embroidery wrap around the body like ocean waves; shimmering pearls and crystals speak of silent splendor under the lights.
Even though my eyes cannot see, I can still feel the texture of the fabrics with my fingertips and sense how they flutter and fly as my body spins. In my drawings, all of this has already come true.
A blind person can also have her own “Milan moment.”
I pour all my longing for fashion, my yearning for beauty, and my desire to be seen into this “Tree of Dreams.”
Every circle is a spinning stage; every figure in magnificent attire is my tribute to the future. Though I live in darkness and have never set foot in Milan, in my art I walk the brightest runway in the world.
With every stroke of the line, I declare:
Dreams never ask if you can see them — they only ask if you dare to wear them. Patent Pending - AU 2026901562
