Anna Borou Yu is a designer, researcher and dancer. She is the co-founder and director of MYStudio (https://mystudio.design/) in NY, and the curator and media artist at Harvard Chinese Media Lab. Anna engages in multimedia and interdisciplinary exploration, including architecture, theatre, space, exhibition, dance, music. Her works have been featured at ACM SIGGRAPH Asia 2020, Ars Electronica Festival in Linz (2020), Indie Short Festival (2020), Lisbon Film Rendezvous (2020), Anatolia International Film Festival (2020), Yale Peabody Museum (2019, US), Youth Scholars Forum in 5th Annual Conference of Network Society (2020), Yale School of Architecture (2019, US), Università degli Studi Roma Tre School of Architecture (2019, Italy), Tradition Game Conservation Exhibition in Dunhuang Academy (2018, China), Tsinghua University School of Architecture (2017, China). Borou owns a Master of Architecture Degree from Yale School of Architecture (US, 2020), a Bachelor Degree of Architecture from Tsinghua University (China, 2017), and a Part I Certificate of Royal Institute of British Architect (UK, 2019). And as a dancer, Borou studied with the Martha Graham Dance School, Isadora Duncan International Institute and Laban/ Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies. She was also the second place of Standard Dance in University Ballroom Competition in Beijing. She lectured and reviewed at UCSD Music Courses (2020).
