Woven Memory explores cultural memory through ornament as a living visual language rather than a historical document. The series does not attempt to reconstruct the traditional costume of a specific region or nation. Instead, it works with ornamental memory as a field of associations, where textile motifs, inherited forms, and imagined structures are transformed into new visual compositions.
Wholeness reflects the idea that identity is formed through layers - personal, cultural, sensory, and symbolic. The work brings together familiar visual elements without assigning them to a fixed origin, allowing them to exist as fragments of memory rather than as ethnographic references. Here, ornament is not decoration but an internal structure that carries traces of belonging, continuity, and transformation.
