Untamed explores the parallels between the resilience of the forest and the willpower of the human body. The regenerative forces of nature mirror the experience of pain, healing, and resilience of injured ballet soloist Diana Ionescu. Developed together with choreographer Martino Semenzato, the choreography is based on body-centered research conducted with foresters and forest experts, drawing on concepts from modern forestry. Which principles of growth and renewal are at work both in the forest and within ourselves?
