Online, Disconnected is a multi-act audiovisual work exploring hyperconnectivity, surveillance, and the fragmentation of identity in contemporary digital culture.
Structured across four acts, the piece follows a progression from collective immersion in digital environments to states of disorientation, loss, reconstruction, and repetition. Through handheld footage, simulated surveillance perspectives, and digital visual language, it reflects on a paradox of contemporary life: the more connected we become, the further we drift from presence, from others, and from ourselves.
Rather than offering a linear narrative, the work operates as a loop where identity becomes unstable, visibility becomes constant, and disconnection never fully occurs.
