Noctiluca scintillans is the plankton that sets the night sea alight. This suspended constellation of crystal resin spheres, permanently installed in Mexico, scales that single luminous cell to architectural space: a bioluminescent bloom frozen mid-drift overhead. Each sphere is a body of light held in tension by near-invisible cable, so the architecture disappears and only the organism remains: a microscopic sea creature repositioned above human heads, at building scale.
