This work is a meditation on the subtlety of human form, where gesture meets abstraction and material anxiety rests in play. Part of a larger body of work titled, "Soft syntax" that brings together ideas around "soft resistance," the sculpture neither asserts nor submits. Instead, it holds space for ambiguity, where bodily forms are abstracted into slippery motifs, as protective membranes and exposed surfaces. The entanglement of synthetic material and hard metal traces the boundary between organic sensibility and technological containment. As with language pushed to the edge of structure, the sculpture embodies a poetics of deferral - something like a gesture of refusal, not through opposition, but through entanglement.
