The work "Trace" exploring the possibility of subjective sensibility. The theme of this work refers to the senses of tenderness and sadness that can never reach to the endpoint. Those senses can be represented by the faintness trace left. Trace, which expresses the intensely personal experience of sadness. It is an object-based performance. During the course of the performance, blue ink drips onto the canvas leaving a trace. It presents the process of a person struggling under the enormous influence of sadness. Proposing a method balancing uncontrollable emotion and the desire for a peaceful moment. The gesture of the performer turning her back to the audience suggests the privacy of the performer, which indicates that although the performance itself is held to be public, it remains a moment of personal experience. After the performance, only the canvas marked with blue traces of ink remains as evidence of the performer’s. Through the performance, the confliction revealed through the performance of obstinate emotion and desire to achieve pure inner peace, which lies across the wholeness.
