Catching the Moonlight is inspired by dusky moonlight caught on the wall, focuses on the one perfect moment in life. As the water drips from threads every minute into the containers, it will chronically reach to the edges and overflow. The water drips represent light and shadow through the blinds, magnify the elusiveness of nature. The ceramic containers perfectly laid out underneath the thread preserve the moment of fullness. The work seeks to expand the experience with the intangible nature phenomenon.
