The Ikono Falls – Drawn Beyond
As the final work created within The Mycelium, The Ikono Falls reveal the ground beneath the series. They are not its conclusion, but the place from which every work has grown, and from which future works may continue to emerge.
They remind us of the place we arrive at when the fall comes to an end. Aliveness. Connection. Meaning. An invitation to let ourselves be nourished.

Fluorescent wool threads hang from the ceiling, gather on objects throughout the space, and spread across a floor covered in silver thermal blankets. Before entering The Ikono Falls, visitors are invited to take a wool thread from The Soup. They are invited to place it within The Ikono Falls and, upon leaving, take a different thread from the installation home with them.
The Ikono Falls move between present reality and future possibility. The documented installation presents a realized fragment of the work, while a digital representation points toward a possible future expansion.
