Latte Macchiato – Shifting Realities
The work describes the state in which we lose our sense of orientation because everything begins to shift at once. The body changes. Sleep changes. Our sense of time changes. Nothing remains as it was. Professional identity, social relationships, and financial possibilities begin to shift. Even memory, identity, and perception become fluid.
The work unfolds through three distinct states. In front of a window, it reveals the eternal cycle of becoming and passing away — day and night, and day again. Under blacklight, change unfolds within the darkness of isolation and silence. Suspended above a mirror, the viewer becomes part of the work. Those who pass by encounter themselves before and after the experience.

Latte Macchiato is a modular installation reconstructed on site by the exhibition team. Each exhibition gives rise to a different version of the work.
Aluminium foil is torn into fragments, crumpled, and attached to the lower half of the curtain using magnets. Bundles of wool are inserted into the upper fabric loops of the curtain using wooden rods. Their lower ends are gathered and tucked into an opening in the aluminium structure.
