RUMI’S QUATRAIN II

Earlier, while breathing the madness

I wasasking those quastions”why” and „how”

I kept knocking at this door all my life and when it opened

I realized that I have been knocking from inside

Messages of this 13th century Persian philosopher, poet and mystic are difficult to be translated say today’s translators.

There are several, slightly different translations/interpretations of this quatrain available.

While finishing the kinetic RUMI’S QUATRAIN I,

I was approached with a different translation (knocking to a single door, madness…)

and this is why I have decided to elaborate the next version of the kinetic.

Thus there is a sigle door and the number of rotating mirrors and other elements of possible poet’s objects of fascination.
