Rite of Architectural Body is an investigation aiming to discover the body identity in the tribal rituals.
The project focuses on defining the relation between the body and the sacral space it is living in. In the indigenous tribes architectures assume a different role compared to our culture. First of all, it does not use the same inseparable physicalness as in our architectural practice. In fact, in the western cultural praxis, architectures set the people social roles. Instead, for these tribes, roles are what define a spatial partition that can be express as a body architecture. The white and the blue color highlight the sacral spatial areas presented in the rituals and they are referable to spiritual and divine entities.
Rite of Passage
The spatial distribution defined in the rite of passage mainly focuses on the creation of a path that accompanies the body of the young person who will have to face one or more trials with the aim of actively entering the community. It is therefore a ritual that takes on a temporal and procedural value at the end of which the young person becomes an adult.
The role of the public is fundamental because it sanctions the testimony of the passage.
