"Presencia Velada" ( Irene )
Explores the tension between identity and perception. A face emerges partially concealed behind a translucent surface that acts as a boundary between the visible and the invisible.
The work contrasts an organic and vulnerable materiality with a transparent plane that filters the viewer’s gaze. This barrier does not completely hide the figure; instead, it transforms its presence, creating a sense of distance, memory and fragility.
The sculpture invites reflection on what remains beyond appearances and on the construction of identity as an incomplete, evolving process open to multiple interpretations.
