"Fragmento de Presencia" (Sílvia)
Explores the relationship between absence and permanence through the representation of a fragmented human torso.
Reduced to its essential forms, the body appears incomplete yet resilient. The missing elements do not diminish its presence; instead, they invite the viewer to reflect on memory, transformation and the traces left by lived experience.
The visible marks of modelling and the raw treatment of the surface emphasize the physical nature of the work and reveal the creative process as part of its meaning. The sculpture does not seek anatomical perfection, but rather an emotional and symbolic presence that emerges from vulnerability and endurance.
The work reflects on the body as a container of memory, identity and human experience, suspended between fragility and strength.
