NOUMEN DEVICE 312++[5] — LOVE

NOUMEN DEVICE is a series of thirteen interactive sculptures that exist simultaneously as art objects and as mechanisms.

Each work combines a sculptural form with a digital interface, including an integrated screen, physical buttons, and its own system of interaction.Every sculpture begins with a specific human condition.This becomes the work’s point of departure and shapes its symbolic language. All objects in the series follow the same principle: the mechanism remains active and continuously offers a path forward, yet its own function cannot be identified. As the interaction unfolds, new stages appear without bringing the user closer to understanding what the device does or where its structure ultimately leads.

NOUMEN DEVICE 312++[5] - LOVE is part of the NOUMEN DEVICE collection. Its interactive sequence is structured around searching for keys and navigating a labyrinth for another person. These actions suggest an attempt to approach the understanding of love, yet completing them does not reveal the mechanism’s own function.
