NOUMEN DEVICE is a series of thirteen interactive sculptures that exist simultaneously as art objects and as mechanisms.
Each work combines a sculptural form with a digital interface, including an integrated screen, physical buttons, and its own system of interaction.
Every sculpture begins with a specific human condition. This becomes the work’s point of departure and shapes its symbolic language. All objects in the series follow the same principle: the mechanism remains active and continuously offers a path forward, yet its own function cannot be identified. As the interaction unfolds, new stages appear without bringing the user closer to understanding what the device does or where its structure ultimately leads.
NOUMEN DEVICE 307++[6] - MOVEMENT is part of the NOUMEN DEVICE collection. The sculpture is built around continuous movement: a motion that never fully stops and always proceeds in a certain direction. Its internal interactive system follows the same logic. It constantly moves, transforms, and develops, while the user can only choose the path it takes. The interaction continues without revealing the mechanism’s own function or its final destination.
