MiróMirror is a modular and interactive art installation consisting of 12 oil paintings that unfolds as a visual and emotional exploration of Transformation and integration, expressed through organic, storyboard-like forms. The project considers how artistic heritage shapes contemporary identity and ongoing personal development. It invites viewers to reflect on identity, memory, and creative influence from the past as dynamic processes that unfold in the present moment.
On the right side of the canvases, a Concave Mirror is installed directly on the wall. Within its curved surface, Joan Miró’s opera “L’Oro dell’Azzurro”, is reflected and visually transformed through the movement of visitors. As viewers shift position, the reflection changes dynamically, resembling a video like images, generating pictorial forms similar with the painted canvases themselves, creating a continuous interplay between past and present, object and reflection, stability and transformation.
The series also includes an Augmented Reality component: a morphing video accessible by scanning canvas number 7 with the free Artivive app, extending the physical work into a digital dimension and reinforcing the dialogue between traditional painting and contemporary technology.
