Libro d'Artista (lit. 'Artist's Book') takes shape as a symbolic and material journey toward an understanding of existence, uniting humanity's primordial search for knowledge with the realm of metaphysical transcendence.
At the center of the composition, a large disc of oxidized metal embodies the Universe: a solemn presence, marked by the passage of time, embracing the infinite. Set within the heart of this celestial sphere rests a clay orb, a metaphor for the Microcosm and the mystery of the world. From the earth's rough surface, a fissure opens to reveal a radiant glow of gold. The gilding thus becomes a vibrant threshold—an invitation and a gateway into the deepest essence of things.
From this doorway of light unfolds a descending spiral staircase composed of ceramic elements that evoke the structure of a book and its pages. It is the staircase of knowledge: each step represents a stage in humanity's evolutionary journey, a page of stone to be turned in the pursuit of spiritual and intellectual elevation.
The work invites the viewer to embark upon this ascent: a cognitive and spiritual journey that, through the language of matter, leads step by step toward the light of awareness and the revelation of the world's enduring mystery.

L’opera “Libro d’artista” si configura come un viaggio simbolico e materico verso la comprensione dell’esistente, fondendo l'ancestrale bisogno umano di conoscenza con la trascendenza metafisica.
Al centro della composizione, un grande disco in metallo ossidato incarna l’Universo: una presenza solenne, segnata dal tempo, che abbraccia l’infinito. Incastonata nel cuore di questa volta siderale si trova una sfera di argilla, metafora del Microcosmo e del mistero del mondo. Dalla superficie ruvida della terra si apre una spaccatura da cui emerge un bagliore dorato: la doratura diventa così una soglia vibrante, un invito e una via d’accesso per penetrare l’essenza profonda delle cose.
Da questa porta di luce si origina, in un movimento discendente ed elicoidale, una scala a chiocciola composta da tessere di ceramica che richiamano la struttura di un volume e delle sue pagine. È la scala della conoscenza: ogni gradino rappresenta una tappa del cammino evolutivo dell'uomo, un foglio di pietra da sfogliare per elevarsi.
L’opera invita lo spettatore all'ascesa: un percorso cognitivo e spirituale che, attraverso la materia, conduce gradino dopo gradino verso la luce della consapevolezza e la rivelazione del mistero del mondo.
