The sculpture in question develops two key concepts of my feeling, one linked to the dualism of matter-spirit and the other based on the doubtful aspect about the essence of each conscious being. The dualism represented by the contrast of the materials used, half in walnut wood, a tangible element associated with the material, and half in cloth that conceals an impalpable and evanescent element like the breath of life of the spiritual sphere. Also the interpretive game is one about self-awareness. With difficulty we build our individuality in which we identify ourselves, but sometimes it happens that fragments of us come out into the open, we do not know from which meander, and we ask existential questions about "do you know yourself?"
The element of the face and its parts is supported by a structure that has its bases in a rock, heavy and burdensome, representing the earthly element, which then tends to crumble towards the other transmigrating into another essence.
