I don't want to wear my hair long

Have you noticed that there is a social obsession with long hair and what is feminine? It's a topic that we get into our heads from a young age and when a woman cuts her hair it's usually a topic of conversation.

Especially if we see it on a large scale, like when Britney Spears or Sinead O'Connor decided to shave off "what makes them sexual", what "makes them feminine".

This is how many girls grow up, thinking that their hair is the most valuable thing they have and that it is one of the things that most represents their femininity. In these cases, cutting your hair, more than an act of beauty, becomes an act of rebellion.
