The exploration of the places in Amatrice, destroyed by the 2016 earthquake, is the content of a broad investigation of which 'Constellations' develops a small section. The themes, personal and other authors' considerations find a visual form in a map consisting of points interconnected through lines, identified by imaginary geographical coordinates. In this cartography of the mind, these points correspond to conceptual places some of which are revealed in short fragments of text that form the background and substance of thought. The conceptual areas are: archive, list, atlases, memory, art, biogea, uncertainty, darkness, birds and stones.
