Boundary （Two-part Installation）

Boundary originates from my background in architecture and reflects on how boundaries are constructed through the act of making space. For an architect, every wall establishes a boundary. As boundaries accumulate, they do not simply divide space; they begin to define relationships between spaces, between different activities, and between the people who inhabit them. This series translates that architectural mode of thinking into ceramic sculpture. Rather than representing architecture itself, the works investigate how boundaries organise, negotiate, and transform spatial experience. Through the interaction of form, volume, and material, Boundary proposes that boundaries are not fixed lines of separation, but dynamic conditions that simultaneously divide, connect, and shape the way we perceive and inhabit space.
