This mixed-media wall relief combines metal screening, cold wax, twine, wire, photographic material, and layered paper to investigate themes of memory, concealment, and resilience. A network of hand-tied twine stretches across the surface, creating both a physical and psychological barrier that obscures and protects the image beneath. Fragments of photographic material emerge through an opening in the composition, offering only partial access to the figure and inviting viewers to consider what is hidden, preserved, or remembered.

The work balances industrial and organic materials, contrasting the rigid geometry of the metal mesh screening with the tactile softness of wax, paper, and fiber. Layers accumulate like the traces of lived experience, where time, erosion, and repair become visible elements of the composition.
