Carolyn DiFiori Hopkins is an American interdisciplinary artist whose practice spans painting,
mixed media, and constructed works. She earned her MFA with High Distinction from the State University of New York
at Albany, after studying at the Philadelphia College of Art. Her work has been exhibited
throughout the United States and is included in the permanent collection of the State University of New York Office of the Chancellor.
In 2023 DiFiori Hopkins was named International Featured Artist of the Year by the Berlin Art Collective
and is a Woven Tale Press Fellow. Working with reclaimed materials, photography, and painting, she
creates layered works that explore memory, resilience, and the traces of human experience. She
lives and works in Albany, New York.
