This object is part of my series “Mythology of the Unknown,” in which I work with a fragile system of myths.
The realization that human existence is impossible outside the systems of mythos and logos led me to search for my own anchors. In this work, the material, much like someone else's myth, deceives us, leading away from conventional perception, and only the body provides a complete picture of reality. The soft, pliable texture of silicone allows me to materialize something elusive—a state of safety and vulnerability.
This is a myth I am sharing, turning the object into an image on the borderline between reality and the meanings that each person invents for themselves.
