From the series Conchiglia. Caught in the blue of dusk, this room opens through raised steps onto further thresholds, each leading deeper into the abandoned villa. A painted ceiling and carved mantel persist above a floor returning to dust. The threshold becomes a mental state as much as a passage — the moment architecture stops being a place and turns into interior, remembered space.
