Note to Self, reflects the beauty in the blur of moving through life. Unexpected changes, unvoiced thoughts, and private narratives. In this work blooms of dahlias, strawflowers and succulents are softly obscured behind glass, flowing water and light reflections cause change in form, mirroring the way our inner dialogue can both project and blur our sense of self.

This body of work is a reflective study of Identity in motion as we age. A pondering of midlife shifts.
It explores the space between internal dialogue and external pressure and perceptions, between who we are, and who we think we should be.
In the blur of expectation and identity, this series is a quiet reclamation, shifting our story and letting go of surface narratives to reconnect with the beauty beneath.
The works were created using florals, glass and water, photographed in natural light. Images are blurred by gushing and ripping water poured across glass, the surface in motion, causing soft distortion. Others beneath the weight of the glass, forms warped under pressure. Metaphors of ones life beauty under pressure and change.
