Beauty Blurred. Captures a veiled softness, glass and moving water obscuring blooms, softening their edges until form becomes suggestion. Focus drifts, boundaries blur, bathed in a beautiful haze. Finding beauty in the blur, loving ourselves as we age and change.
The composition features dahlias, succulents, oyster mushrooms, zinnias, hydrangeas, wild carrot seed head, amaranth, fruit and foliage; including, feathery pampas flowers and crabapples. Shot behind glass and water.

In the blur of expectation and identity, this series is a quiet reclamation, shifting our story and letting go of surface narratives to reconnect with the beauty beneath.
The works were created using florals, glass and water, photographed in natural light. Images are blurred by gushing and ripping water poured across glass, the surface in motion, causing soft distortion. Others beneath the weight of the glass, forms warped under pressure.
