performance photography addressing the topic of objectivation of (female) bodies and the creation of (public) images and confronts it with the reality of the flesh, ageing bodies, death and decay. The depicted appears to be still carrying it´s umbilical cords. What remains, related to the tale of the emperor without clothes, underneath all the pomp and glory, all the filters and all the dresses we wear, is that we essentially all are lumps of flesh attributed with insignias which will be lost when we return to earth, Maybe a call to a little bit more humbleness.
Also referring to the crown of creation, a species crowingn itself king and queen, busily working on it´s own destruction.
