Cultural landscapes

The works that make up the Cultural Landscapes series are pieces made with images scanned or extracted from the Internet of landscapes from classical European paintings, digitally united with photographs taken by me, of Latin American landscapes (Argentina, Peru, Mexico, Brazil, Uruguay).

It is a work that brings together images that are meaningful to me and that make up my daily landscape, my oasis. Each part or cutout, in addition to representing nature, refers to dear people, memories, anecdotes, moments, places, desires. They are pieces that show how the same territory, with each new look, can be configured to transmit a different landscape. The elements of nature may be the same, but they mean very different things to each person who looks at them.

Each work is a personalized and unrepeatable landscape and aims to trigger sensations for the viewer, so the viewer has the possibility of creating their own scenario. The shape of the world is what we give to it.
