Continuing my practice of action painting with hair, I propose a 10-minute live hair painting performance for the opening.

This work traces back to a series of performances confronting female rage and inherited trauma. Using red ink, powder, and local soil, I painted with and through the body—inhabiting both the veiled bride and the bloodied battlefield. The female form became a site of inscription, where generational pain was made visible.

Replacing the brush with acts of clawing, rolling, and slapping, I embraced accident and intensity, allowing the surface to receive stains, scars, and residues. Here, the traditionally masculine language of calligraphy is transformed into a distinctly female movement of hair painting—a gesture of resistance, release, and reclamation.
