The
adjacent bodies evoke the shape of a bouquet, where stems, arms, legs, and
heads blend with purple irises. The soft background is crossed by faint shadows
of a dreamlike vision.
The
works in the Fioritura series trigger a fusion between plant forms and
compositions of human figures. The scenes, sharp and fleeting visions at the
same time, still retain a dreamlike root, deeply embedded in the intimate
reality of the unconscious. The ancient duality of man and nature is presented
here in the form of overlap and integration, combining the singular with the
multiplicity of bodies. The hypnagogic vision, heralding the awakening of
reason, captures the complex Self of a branching identity.
