Vision of Christ

“Vision of Christ” is part of an intuitive alla prima oil painting series exploring limerence, inner states, spiritual symbolism, and subconscious imagery. Created in a single session using direct brushwork and wet oil paint, the work emerged from a vivid visionary experience during meditation and altered emotional states.

The blurred monochromatic face appears between presence and memory — suspended between dream, prayer, and psychological projection. Rather than illustrating religion literally, the painting explores the human search for meaning, protection, surrender, and transcendence during periods of emotional intensity and transformation.
