Lana is a London-based figurative oil painter whose work explores limerence, emotional projection, attachment, meditation, dreams, and symbolic inner states. Working intuitively through oil painting, her practice moves between portraiture, emotional landscapes, spiritual archetypes, and subconscious imagery.
Her recent series investigates how intense emotional experiences transform perception and identity, evolving from personal figures into symbolic presences such as waves, solitary bodies, meditative forms, child-like apparitions, and birds of witness. Influenced by dreams, meditation, visions, and psychological states, the work exists between emotional reality and symbolic perception.
Through muted palettes, atmospheric spaces, and emotionally charged compositions, Lana explores vulnerability, longing, overwhelm, surrender, collapse, and inner restoration. Rather than illustrating fixed narratives, the paintings function as emotional and symbolic environments in which viewers may encounter their own projections, memories, and states of attachment.
