Part of a bigger immersive project “Thalasso”, which takes its name from the German term for thalassotherapy – a therapeutic approach rooted in the healing properties of the sea.
Across many cultures and religions, water represents life, energy, and spiritual renewal. On an individual, ontogenetic level, water is also deeply significant as the first element we encounter in the amniotic fluid, evoking a primal sense of safety and comfort.
On a scientific level, “Thalasso” is inspired by the Blue Mind Theory, which explores the positive effects of blue spaces and aquatic environments on human well-being and mental health. This theory suggests that connection to water can promote relaxation, improve mood, and foster a state of calm.
