Mixed media on canvas (acrylic, watercolor, pencil and varnish)
Series of 6 paintings, 40 × 50 cm each.
Approx. installation size: 85 × 160 cm.
This series explores the invisible threads that connect generations through memory, experience, care, and love.
The father appears as a keeper of stories — a guardian of wisdom shaped by time, life experience, and silent acts of devotion. The daughter inherits not only memories, but also the freedom to discover her own path and expand the horizons of her world.
Throughout the series, landscapes, architectural fragments, symbolic details, and intimate gestures intertwine, revealing the subtle ways in which knowledge and values are transmitted. A small footprint beside a larger one, a doorway opening toward new possibilities, and traces of imagined stories become metaphors for protection, guidance, and transformation.
The works reflect a journey from inheritance to self-discovery. What begins as received wisdom gradually evolves into personal experience, allowing the daughter to create her own vision of the world.
Ultimately, Threads of Wisdom: From Father to Daughter is a reflection on continuity — on how love, memory, and human connection transcend time, shaping who we become and inspiring the chapters that follow.
