Codes of Time is a series about time as a valuable resource. Time can feel slow or fast. Sometimes we barely notice it, while at other moments every minute is filled with energy and meaning. The four works explore four different ways of experiencing time.
I. Time — Without Counting the Hours
A quiet state of living in the moment, before we become aware of how quickly time passes.
II. Time — Hearing the Pendulum
An awakening and a realization that time is moving. A reminder not to postpone life.
III. Time — Keeping Pace with the Flow
A person enters the rhythm of time and moves with its flow, transforming its speed into the energy of life.
IV. Time — Making the Most of a Moment
A person no longer experiences time as pressure, but begins to choose how to direct their own time and energy. The two lower works can be perceived as separate, smaller units of time — like two hours or two days. The two upper works merge into a larger space, suggesting how carefully lived moments can expand into a space of greater ideas and possibilities.
Time cannot be stopped.
But we can choose what to fill it with.
