In this work, the figure of the nun serves as a symbol for
the shame imposed by culture and social institutions. The rope physically
stitched through the canvas at her back acts as a literal bond, representing
the weight of external expectations. Through collage and texture, the piece
captures how the body carries the marks of silence and social control.
