Following his retirement Dave Marsh has rediscovered his love of painting and drawing after a 50 year hiatus.
His initial works, of which this painting is one, explore the surrealistic superposition of incongruous figures into various landscapes, with the aim of stirring hidden emotions in the viewer.
This painting is set within the other-worldy landscape of Ffynone Falls in Pembrokeshire The scene is littered with images of people from the 40s & 50s who appear to be sleeping (or are they?)
