Dave Marsh was borm in West Bromwich in 1955. He enjoyed art from an early age. However around age 18 he became obsessed with accuracy in his work and became a fan of the Photorealism Movement. At this stage his enjoyment in making art waned. He also had to make the choice between studying fine art or architecture at university. He chose the latter as financial security was likely to be better. He has been practicing as an architect ever since. As a consequence he stopped painting & drawing for nearly 50 years.
Now with approaching retirement and the need for a hobby he has re-discovered producing art again and is now in search of a more relaxed and enjoyable style for his work.
